Our Normal weekend

This weekend was hectic as usual,nothing new.

saturday morning aswath had chess class hubby dropped and picked him back from the class.
In the meanwhile he went to gas agency and got the cylinder.

Back at home maid has not turned up and search started for a temporary maid and finally got one.
Then finishe the cooking as aswath had a comic con session at hoothuhool ,Basavangudi.

kids had their meals with us,then aswath and hubby left a ao basavangudi and i put ashwika to bed.
Later i woke her up at 4.30 as she had a birthday partyat 5.00 pm.she got dressed up nicely and went for a party.

hubby and aswath were back at 6.45 pm and hubby again went to bring a room heater as every one had bad cough and cold.

Bajaj heater is doing a good job at evry night keeping us warm ..
now dinner time and went to bed ,in mean while we got 3 tamil dvds hoping to watch before weekend gets over...

next day sunday as usual wake up,sunday cleaning ,washing clothes,sorting for ironining,the went to decathlon to buy skate shoes for both the kids.shopping over and went to aswath guitar class at11.30 am.

aagain we 3 leaveing aswath at class,we went to shops for looking for a mobile for me,finnally dcecided with samsung s5.No its time up to pick up aswath

picked up aswtah from music class and ordered food from chinese restauarant and again aswath and hubby left for the last session of comics class.

cleaned up everything and put ashwila o bed and slept for an hr.
again nmade tea and mini snacks ....
now myself amd ashwi watched TV for 30 minutes

evening maid turned up at 4.14 and asked her to clean the fridge and some vessels.she left after one hr.
hubby and aswath came back from COMIC CON -studio with a nice comic written by aswath with images.worth all the effort.. YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY.


hubby was running carzy becoz of thgis session ASWATH  had on weekends..

now relieved his session is over and also aswath had an exposure towards something he likes.....

Now again went to mobile shop and got the mobile from relaicnae after enquiring in PAI,AHIRWAD,SANGEETHA..

weekend is over :-(

hoping for a relaxd weekend atleast next week....
 

Transition and Day Care

we had a maid who stayed with ous for more than 10 months and she left us rather i sent her out on august and we are managing alone here till then.

so i have put the kids in Little millenium daycare and they will be there till 6.30pm

Now i have moved from IBM to another reputed org as QA-Lead.

Good job but expecting for a flexible nature of work so that i can take care of kids as hubby reaches
home around 8.30 pm...

kids are doing well in both academics and extra activities.

aswath likes to attend Robotics class and he enjoys it.

aswath also shows great interest in comics and have enrolled him for a  4 weekend sessions at Kuthuhoola.

He is not showing much interest towards Chess so doesnt want to force him though...

Movies

Saw a lot of tamil and cartoon movies like katthi,Big hero..

Indoor play :Kids had a gala time in Gubacheez with nana on novemebr14 as i had office i was not able to join them..


weekends were jam packed with olympiad classes and good thing is aswath got selected for the

second round of cyber olympiad..and got school rank 5th out of 300-400 students..



Birthday:Toward Aswath birthday treat we went to Nando's for dinner and aswath enjoyed a lot that ashwi.

But poor girl ashwi had her birthday treat in Junior kuppanna :-)



My cousin who was staying with us for the last 5 months got a good job in HCL Technologies.

so we were really happy for him..


Aswath having annual day on this friday and he is participating in chorus singing....


 

Weekend

We went to Dhoom3 , on Sunday afternoon at Cinemax Belandur.aswath enjoyed a lot.
On saturday evening we went to Nandavana park in Jayanagar.
Aswikha had lots of fun and enjoyed a lot.
on the way we went to Sairam Temple .

On sunday aswath got a wave board from Decathlon.He is trying to Master that.

New year 2014.

We had lots of fun and busy schedule in the year 2013.

Took aswath to so many places ,as much as I could do..

To name a few here we did in 2013.

Bangalore Literature festival:Attended a story telling session with storywallahsa.
Claytopia:Aswath tried his hands on making an Aircraft.
Dhattu Navarathiri visit.
Noddy show at aswath school
Pratham books calender design:Aswath story was selected for one of the months.
Big Thinkers:Aswath attended a session for more than 3 months.
Ipl Match:Bangalore vs.Chennai.
Kitsch Mandi at Palace grounds.
Cake exhibition on 24th December

Kids went to chennai for Vacation.we went to Dubaare elephant camp during the long winter holidays.


kids had fun feeding and giving bath to elephants.Aswath totally enjoyed the coracle ride and elephant ride.

Bonfire and Movie screening were eagerly expected by aswath for the two days we stayed there.

Food was decent and the staff were child friendly.

Aswath and Ashwika had a fight in sitting at Hammock ,who is first??


we left Dubarre on 31st morning and went to Kushal Nagar.

The temple was lovely and aswath showed lot of interest to know about Buddhism.

We bought some souveniers and started our journey towards Bangalore.

While coming back we came thru chennepatana and bought some toys and goodies for kids.

we were back to Bangalore around 7.00pm.

Kids and Hubby went to Local Bakery and got Cake and we did the cake cutting on 1st Jan ,before
leaving to Haralur road anjaneyar temple.

 

Back to India and Back to work

After coming back from Swiss to Bangalore in 2012, we had a hectic time to settle down.
Now aswath is studying in DPS-east and Ashwika goes to a near by play group called little Millenium.

we are very busy with lot of activities for both of them.Overall i can say that the transition was good.
every weekend we do lot of activities like

1.visting atta galatta a local book store.
2.visting Hippocampus and just books library in the neighbourhood.
3.Going to Rangashankara for a movie/story teklling session.
4.visting Dhaatu during Navaratri.
5.Aswath will be busy with academic activities also in the weekend
6.Going to theaters for movie(krish3,cartoon movies,tamil movies0
7.story writing compettion in oakrideg campus.
8.Leadership session in school of success indiranagar.
9.Baking class in our apartment.

Aswath joined badminton and then he said he was not interested in that.He attended swimm classes inside the apt.

Now he goes for chess classes during weekends.

we went to Mysore and wonderla for the past 1 year.In mysore we stayed in Lalit Mahal Palace.
we went to our native place Mayavaram during april and may months for doing pooja .


Aswath got state level rank in the last year NSO and IEO exams.
He was awarded medal and certificate for that.

like going for spell bee competition, attending an orientation for spell bee.

Aswath got 3rd prize in the MAARS interschool spell bee held in Bangalore.

Two weeks back aswath had participated in the spell bee of bengaluru brain games and got selected for the stage round.

But finally he cldnt make up to the last 3 finalists.but we were proud ,he had put his own effort.

I am planning to maintain a blog of activities we do with the kids during weekend.

Last friday dec6th we had ashwiks school Annual day,where we attended as a family.Last weekend Aswath had YLE exam,where hubby dropped him and picked him up on saturday.

In the mean time we did small shopping of dresses as mom-in law was planning to leave to UK.
Sunday we had a good time in MainLand China,White field.
Buffet was great and kids enjoyed a lot there.

In the evening we watched a movie called Arambam,starring Ajith ,not very interesting ,but i enjoyed the family time overall.


Lastly ,I have started working in IBM from september.

Hope to continue the blogging and i wish i could keep the blog alive in the forth coming days.












 

My kids

Aswath wants me to write a blog and likes to view the blog everyday when he is back from school.

I used to follow a lot of blogs everyday ,so its my turn to maintain a blog for the kids.

Will write about the latest trip to Disney land Paris very soon.

So I wish I will update abou my daughter Ashwika also along with the stories of her brother.
